I'm trying to figure out whether I should take off the Silver racing stripes on my car, so everyone tell me.
Yes, take them off
or
No, leave the stripes lol
VOTE!!!!
-thanks
I'm not a big fan of stripes usually, but they don't look bad at a ll, and if you have them, I would leave them, even if you get them off cleanly, the paint under will be less faded than around it and it won't look right.

That hunk of junk? Yeah, well I've made a few special modifications to that yellow 99 Gt, it makes the Kessel run in 12 parsecs and eats turbo japs and poops chevy's
If your not sure, leave them on- I went through this myself. I started by taking them off the hood, hated the way it looked- cost me 100 bucks to put em back on! The hundred bucks was the easy part, getting my ass busted on was way worse.
The only way I'd leave them on is if it leaves nasty tan lines under the stripes. There's only been about 2 instances where I can say stripes belong on a new edge. And both were on a cobra. Leave the stripes for the s197's.

dont listen to anyone. opinions matter but...... your ride you do what you want and what you like best.... my personal opinion it looks sick with them on.

they dont look like they came on the car... id take them off. it would look clean with that color of mustang. its just to bad you cant take the emblems off without having holes in the pannels

Id have to agree with weezy. I would take them off, but then again its your car. Good luck figuring out what you want to do

Also, is that dark shadow gray? Or mineral gray? With DSG, you can really pull off some nice looking color/wheel/bumper setups.
its like a metallic gun metal. the actual car color, matches the spokes on the rim, and the stripes match the trim around the rim, so it blends off pretty good, i'm just more into the solid color cars.
and thanks eveyone else for your input.
more then likely, i'll leave them on, tan lines are gay for cars
I would put matching striped on the hood scoop the plain paint makes it looked tacked on, but it's a sweet ride no matter what I would add if that an option. lol
