Default Guys running BFG or NITTO 315's see here...

Hey fellas I'm hoping to get some NITTO 555R Drag Radials (315/35/R17) and I'm wondering about tire pressure. What are some of you guys running on the...

well i have 275s but i don't think there's that much of a pressure difference. 30-32ish on the street. 12.5-14 at the track. very good tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking mine are around 35ish with my 315 Nittos

You need to get rid of, that O/R H pipe and put on a high flow catted X pipe. You'll see a difference, in your time at the track not much but it's a start. Maybe as much, as a tenth of a second faster. X pipes scavenge exhaust gasses better, an H pipe is more of a balance tube and not that equal a balance, Mike. SCT Tuner.

What tires are you talking about, the nittos or BFGs? i have the nitto 555R haven't taken it to the track yet, isnt 12.5-14psi a little low?

Either or tire, I'm hoping to get NITTO's, I hear 12.5 to 14psi is pretty typical for good traction on the track.

I also use the nitto 555r drag radials and going to the track in a couple of weeks so this post was good thanks I will do my first run around 15 15.5- and take it from there

is this on a 9 inch rim or an 8 runnig 274/40/17? or does it even matter?

This is for a 315/35/R17 on a bullitt deep dish 10.5"

the nittos. i haven't lowered mine to that yet, but i will thursday and i'll post my results. i read in a mm&ff article that the nittos like that pressure. so we'll see
