Default 2001 Mustang GT price quote

I have never owned a Mustang before and have been on the tail of two of them, of which two have been sold from under my feet.

2001 Ford Mustang GT

I found this one last night and was wondering if the price he was asking is a little too high. I ran the Kelly Blue Book on it and it said about 7,610 dollars for it. Do all the upgrades that are on it command the price that he is requesting?

no way would i pay $10,000 for it. if anything modifications depreciate the value because you know he/she liked going fast (running the car hard). i bought my 02 gt over a year ago with 46,000 miles for $9,000 with two sets of new tires. and that was well before all this economic crap. bring up the kelly blue book value if you go to check it out.

Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails

If I could get it down to the 8000 dollar range think it would be a good deal or still over priced?

I found a different one on craigslist. The problem is the price, its way to high. I don't see anything that would command the price he is asking for it. Is presenting the KBB the best option for bringing his price down?

honestly, im in love w/ the competition orange. and w/ the black leather interior would be crazy awesome!! seems a little high but people always think the 40th ann makes the price go crazy high. i would try to negotiate down to atleast 11500 or 11000. but that would be a good price in my opinion. of course a test drive is neccessary but i would snag up a competition orange, rare color, and my fav
