Time to upgrade my exhaust already have slp lm1 am thinking of going with bbk lt and there off road x pipe or h pipe. Or should i spend the extra money and just get the slp lt and catted x pipe? Let me know your opinion.
as for the mid pipe make sure you get the ones that fit with the headers you are going to purchace.. if you read on here you will find that the H and X make about the same power but have a different sound... check youtube...
IMHO since you already have the LM1 catback id go for the whole SLP system

+1 on going with the whole system. those loudmouth 1's are going to be INSANELY loud with an off road mid pipe.

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails
if you want a deap sound go with a x if you want loud raspy sound go with an h but any thing you go with is gonna sound good with the slp go off road not catted though you wont regret it

my friend you have it bass akwards. an x pipe gives you that raspy aggressive nascar sound with a nice crackle and the h pipe gives you that deep classic muscle car sound.

Just know that if you go with an off-road X or H with the LM, it will be extremely LOUD. It's not even a pleasant tone. Its more of an annoying sound rather than deep. Compare the sound to open headers. Im telling you this by experience. I had to remove those glass packs and replace them with magnaflow mufflers. But then again, I have no cats whatsoever. LM might sound better with hi-flow cats...not sure though. Either way, let us know what mid-pipe you chose and tell us if you like it or not. Good luck with your exhaust.
LM1's sound like ass if they are paired with an o/r pipe. The LM2's sound awesome with an o/r but not the LM1's. Get a catted midpipe, or you'll be grinding your teeth a few weeks into having that setup.
