I have a 2002 V6 black mustang. About 6 months ago, I backed into a building, and a small crack was made in the bumper's paint.

I didn't do anything to repair it, and now it is spreading. I can see the metal underneath the paint, which isn't damaged. But the crack now is getting larger.

My questions:
How much would this cost to repair if I took it to a collision repair place?

How hard would this be to repair by myself? Note that I'm not much of a handyman, so if you mention any products to use, please let me know where I can obtain them [greatly appreciated].
