Default Mass Air Upgrade?

I have a 00 bolt on GT with stage 1 cams. I have everything done to it but a mass air meter! Should I change it? Upgrade it? But is it worth my money? And will there even be a HP benefit or just the usual 8-10 HP gain lol! What are some thoughts here? What kind are people using?

Save your money.

The stock 80mm MAF is good for at least 6# of boost on a drawthough Maf setup.

I didn't have to upgrade my MAF to the 90mm LMAF until I increased the boost to 9-10#. The only reason to upgrade the MAF is when you are close to pegging it.

"Pegging the air meter" is when the output voltage of the maf is at 4.5 to 5v and your computer can't add more fuel to the engine.
