Default Cams for 2000 GT

So I'm debating getting cams for my 2000 GT but I'm not sure if I should wait. All I have so far on my car is a k&n fipk and I'm about to order a 70mm throttle body and upper plenum. So i guess I actually have a couple questions...
Do you guys think I should wait till I have full bolt ons before I get cams or would it be fine to get them now. and the other question is, if I'm eventually going to have full bolt ons should I get a bigger diameter on the throttle body?

get a 70mm tb for a n/a car if you go any bigger it will be too much the only way you will need a bigger tb is if you are going to install a super charger and i say go ahead and get a set of hitech stage 2 cams and put on a set of underdrive pullies and then get a set of new gears thats just my 2 cents

Default Cams

Get exhaust, gear, and a programmer! The cams will benefit greatly from those mods. The bolt-on's can be thrown on when you have extra money and nothing to do with it. Dont forget big cams dont give you anymore power when running stock heads!... stage 1 cams are plenty and VERY street friendly.

You got the intake coverd, Id go with a midpipe/catback, if you plan on doing cams, I would do long tube headers as well.

Get yourself a Stage 1 or Stage 2 N/A cam. Get some suspension mods, and you can get into the 12's without a doubt.

A guy on another forum has full suspension, Cams, Full Exhaust, and is running 12.1's.

big cams dont add power with stock heads well thats far from the truth. the stock pi heads are not really that bad. I am speaking from expeience stage 2 cams do add power. I am just a little under 300 rwhp with cams and bolt ons running a 12.78 in the 1/4.

stage 1 cams will be fine but stage 2 better for sure.
