Default new need help

yes im wanting to get a mustang but im having some difficulties deciding. i first was looking to get an 03 or 04 GT but due to the fact that my insurance was going to be a pretty penny as you can expect. im looking for a mustang that has some quickness but also doesnt kill me on gas or insurance thats why i was looking at the 4.6 motor. so i was thinking to look for a 4.6. like a 94 to 99. do you all think that my insurance would be cheaper for these years instead of the 03 or 04. but the way my insurance agent talks, she said it doesnt really matter on the year if its still the same engine. but i know the 4.6 motor got changed some later in the 90's so i didnt know if this would make much of a difference and just looking for some thoughts or if i should just go for a late third generation mustang

it all depends on what state you live in and what your driving record is like. usually it doesnt matter what year the car, what size the engine is, or what type of mustang it is. I live in MA and all my insurance agent wrote down was mustang on the paperwork, never looked at my car before i signed the contract. I pay $3,000 a year for my 2003 Cobra and I had 4 strikes against my insurance in the toughest state. Hope this helps

Im 17, Live in a semi rural area, own a '96GT vert. and pay $271/mo. Hopefully this will give you an idea of what you will be spending. Also, this is my first insurance policy with my company.

THe only difference between the early and late 90's engine's is what is known as a P.I (perf. improved) manigold, cam, tune ,and ,heads??

If this is your first insurance policy the insurance company is going to get you no matter what. I was 19 and lookiing to get my first mustang it was a 01 gt i checked everywhere no one could do better than 4500 annually. I found out after many attempts that a good solution was the svt lightning so i got an 01 and it wasn't but 2600 a year and trust me it was worth buying. After owning it for 2 years I sold it and got an 2000 gt and the insurance had dropped to 2200 a year. Good luck!
