Well guys! Waiting on video (I hope someone got it).

First pass ever, FULL WEIGHT, STOCK SUSPENSION! It was 75 outside with a bit of humidity.

1st pass
12.5 @ 114mph 1.9 60' launch at 2200

2nd pass
11.9 @ 119mph 1.9 60' launch at 2800 (Sprayed 50shot)

Going back next week! With some weight out, and a full bottle. My bottle is on "E" for the last pass, couldnt get my psi over 900/925, and it shoudl be at 1000psi.

Shooting for 11.5 @ 120 next week! That is my goal, if I can hit that, Its time for bigs/littles with slicks, some suspension, and a 100 shot, and 10.99!!!!

Ill get pics/vid up tommorow

2nd pass-

If you look, really really really close. You can see my purge (windshield).

On my bottle run, I lined up with my tuners (Friends) 08'GT500. pulley/tune/Exhaust/Intake, I beat him 60', 1/8, and 1/4! The owner was a "bit" suprised in the pits

damn those are some good pictures. Looks so clean. And I see the purge ahah nice. 11.9 That is some serious business. Deff gotta get slicks so we can see the full potential of the beast! and 100-125 shot! That would be insane! YOU HAVE TO get in the 10s! I hope you got some in car cam of the speedo and tach. I like seeing the speedo just climb so fast!

Hey brotha. A friend of mine said he got video, Im waiting for him to post it up for me, when he does, Ill post it!

11.9 @ 119 1.9 60' suprised me, I was thrilled. For stock suspension, weak launch, and spraying 1st, it hooked without a question. 15psi in the nittos did work, they looked flat, but it hooked!

I promise you I will get some footage of the tach/speedo for you.

11.5's are my next goal. In the exact same trim/setup I have now, except a little bit of weight taken out, and a full bottle! It was cutting out BAD in 4th gear above 4k, way to much air/running empty bottle.

Im shooting for a SOLID low/mid 11 pass. If I can get from 11.0-11.5 I will be happy. For a solid 119-121mph car, that is a perfect time frame to be in, I would be thrilled.

Next tuesday Im bringing bags of ice for my resevoir, filling my bottle, and will be READY. Keeping it on the same setup, just a bit harder launch 3k, instead of 2800. Im making it a point/goal to get myself into the low/mid 11's with a stock suspension setup with a small shot on 12psi!

Im hoping, really hoping, that in the fall (When I up Jets) and run Race gas, I can click off a Sub 10.99 pass. I think it is DEF possible with this setup.

I got the "Chat" about how I need a minor cage at sub 11.50, but I might try to "Cheat" the system until next year. Get by with trying to make 1-2 passes then get kicked out. On my 1st pass go 1/8 mile and shut down, then on the 2nd pass go all hail mary

Damn you gotta get a roll cage? Now thats some serious business. Yea deff fill that bottle up and spray that STUFF! Feel the power of 15 psi throwing you back in your seat. GOD i wanna ride in it. You got a 5 point harness now in your driver seat? LOL

So you say when you go on Race gas does that mean you have to get your car re tuned for race gas? Or are you gunna have like a map you just load when u put in race gas?

Oh and just a thought, because you are running 14.5 or 15psi does that mean that you have a blow off valve because I thought I read that if you go bigger than 10 psi that you can't use the bypass valve anymore you have to have a blow off valve that dispurses it into the atmosphere (like most turbo cars)

Im pullied for 14+ psi, do I see that, not normally. The hotter the weather the lower PSI I see. On Average I see 12.5/13.0psi. Now come winter time, I dont know what I will see. I havent driven the car in temps below 65 degrees yet. I might see 13/14psi, who knows.

BOVs are only for Centri/Turbo cars. You dont run them with PD displacement blowers. Now on your Centri style setup, if you run I'd say 12/13/14psi I would suggest a BOV. With a turbo, BOV no matter what.

--- Yes, At sub 11.5 in the 1/4 mile you are required to have I believe a 5/6pt cage. I have heard 5 and I have heard 6pt, Guess I will have to readup and check it out. Once you hit sub 10.99, you need an 8pt, and then low 10's and 9's you need a big-boy cage, A (Jungle Gym) is what I call it .

We will see what happens. On my current setup, 1000psi in my bottle, and a 3k launch, I Can see a low/mid 11 pass, will it happen, who knows, but Im sure it has it in it. I will PERFECT what I have, and try to reach my best goal throughout the summer.

In September I will go up to a 100-125 shot, and do a little suspension upgrades (Adj Shocks/struts, Control arms). Then I will be able to launch a bit harder (3500+) and go for that 1.5/1.6 60'. On the bigger shot I will run a mix of C10 race gas to be on the safe side, instead of just 93. Is it needed, not really. But I want it to be safe. I will be able to turn up the timing (a little) and I dont see why a sub 10.99 pass wouldnt be possible.

Im trying to figure out what I want to do. Yes, I street-race. I wont lie about it, I do it when the roads are quiet, and not in traffic. I know 1 day, my luck is going to run out, and Im going to get caught, its life... Do I want to keep taking that risk? Im getting older, Im out of school, and Im sure, sooner or later, in the years to come, I will end up getting married and starting a family (Gotta find a woman first) . I have come to realize the track is where this needs to be done at.

I want a track/street car. Legal at the track, but yet can drive it to and from, or to the grocery store, and back home, while saying I can run a 10/11 sec 1/4 mile pass!

wait why would you wanna go auto? Don't most people go from auto to manual? Looks like you gotta killer tranny too.

I'm going to try and start racing at the track more frequently. Although, I still will and do alot of street driving with the car.

Street for me, Manual all the way. Track, Auto.

The reason why. The auto is 100% more consistant at the track. You will cut the same 60' almost, every run. Unless you spin, or launch at a different RPM. Every run you take down the track, no matter what, you will NEVER shift the exact same way on different runs, its just impossible. With an auto, it shifts the exact same every single pass you make down the track.

Consistancy is KEY when it comes to track times. Im just throwing around the idea of going auto. Im positive I will keep the TKO tranny, but down the road, I might make the swap. It takes ALOT of time and money to do it, so who knows.

I enjoy being able to either Trailer/ or drive my car to the track, click off low/mid 11' passes, and either trailer it or drive it home. I can also drive it around on the streets, go to the grocery store, or drive it across the state if I want too.

Im going to the track Tuesday again! So I will have more results shortly.

Ok sounds good. Keep us posted. And find those videos!!! I need to take my car to the track and make some good ass videos. But I wanna at least get my intercooler, then longtubes, and also buy some nitto 555s so I can take those tires to the track and then change them for the street ones I have later on and not ruin my street tires. But the main thing is I wanna launch at 3000rpms hahaha But I might bring my camera and get some short vids of my car getting on the freeway or from a stoplight just to show u the power. But its hard without having a camera guy or a camera mount...

Dude this car is sick! I'm in your beginning stages now, doing the college thing, a bolt on here and there, but just enjoying my Stang while I have it.

Eventually, when I'm done with college and have that high paying job , provided I still have my Stang I want to drop a high end Ford Racing engine into it and work on building it for the track from there.

There's a ton of information in this thread, I say sticky it!!!!
