Default Battery light is driving me crazy. HELP!

My battery light has been coming off and on. I replaced the battery and its still doing it. Some one said it could be the alternator. It usually does it at high rpm and stays on for about 60 seconds.
Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas? Thanks

Check the voltage at the alternator.

Go to Auto Zone. They will check the alternator and the rest of the charging system for free. Then just buy and install the new parts and you are good to go.

I had the same problem over the winter. Then the problem got worse and my car would die after 5 miles or so. In my case I had a bad alternator.

Definitely sounds like the alternator. Don't get a an Autozone or Pep Boys alternator, they only put out borderline amperage. Had I known about this place in Pennsylvania before I bought my OEM alternator I would have gotten it here in your choice of colors.

Default Alternator is good

The alternator tested good, so did the battery. I dont know what else could be causing it. Any ideas?
