so i had my valve cover taken off and the cylinders checked. they stuck a little camera in there i guess and found that a piece of the piston had chipped off. i have no idea why this happened.....any input? what do you think is the best way to go about this?

only detonation can break a piston.wrong plug heat range,wrong fuel octane,a restricted fuel injector?maybe dirty?

i think you need a new engine,or rebuild that one,have your injectors pressure tested,just in case.

When you build it back, don't go cheap on the internals. Forged this time and build it for boost.

so i am going to rebuild it...any suggestions on good parts or just stuff i should do while the engine is out and being built?
