Default speedometer off 1999 Mustang gt
i have 99 gt 5 speed with 275-40-17 tires the guy i bought it from said it had a 3.73 but i think it feels more like 3.55 i can be going 45mph and im really going 39mph with my gps when i go 100mph it says 90mph, i just want to no what speedo gear i need to buy, thanks someone help!

before i had mine calibrated my speedo was reading about 10mph over (about what you said you are seeing) and i have 3.73s. also out speedometers are electrical so you need a speedo calibrator or handheld tuner to change it. not sure fi the speedo gear will work.

Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails

ok it sounds like i have 3.73 gears since you had the same mph difference thanks i probably need to get mine calibrated!
