I have a noise coming from the front end of my car. Its a hissing kind of a static noise. You can really hear it in low gears when your driving between 10-30 mph. when Im coming to a stop and push in the clutch it stops, but if it idles for a while it starts doing it again. Any body have any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like the release bearing, that will do it! cause when you push in the clutch, you say it goes away, try it going down the road! you should replace the clutch too and get the flywheel turned! check the cable!

yeah, the clutch and throwout bearing will go around 80K, so you are probably due...make sure you don't go to a Ford dealership, they will...well you know and won't even kiss you
