Default 2003 Mustang GT and 2003 Mustang Cobra, are the basic bodies the same?

I was wondering if the 03 era GT cars have the same body style as the 03 Cobra cars? Is the aggressive-look of the cobra due to purely stance/ride height exhaust routing through the IRS fender and bumper options? Or are there other details that seperate the Cobra from the GT?

And I'm talking exterior only - I get the n/a sohc to the s/c dohc.

Thanks

The hood is different, side skirts, side scoop inserts, rear and front bumper as well as the fog lights, side mirrors, spoiler, grille, rims, center caps windshield wipers. I'm sure I might be missing something.

That's pretty much it.

hope i'm not threadjacking, but i have a question about the 99-04gt's matching up with the 03-04 body stuff.

i just finished putting on an 03-04 front bumper, and now my hood won't shut because it hits the pieces of the bumper that come up on either side of the grille. it comes up higher and has a low spot that has the hole for the plastic screw thing. as opposed to being flat topped like the stock one. is this normal? and does that mean i need the 03-04 hood to work with it? i was under the impression all the pieces were basically interchangeable.

The cobra hood is shaped different in the front because the bumper cover is shaped different. Most people can adjust it enough for it to shut, but it still doesn't fit quite right without the hood.
