I fit in it, it felt right to me.. I really need to decide if I want it..
I found a 2004 Mustang GT Deluxe with 41,140 miles on it for 11,995.. Manual of course.. It has cobra wheels.. Plans for me would be, powdercoat wheels black, coilovers, bassani X pipe with Borla Stinger cat back, I like sound some Double-Din indash, component speakers, some sort of subwoofer setup.. Supercharger one day, and some other goodies.. But right now I have to decide if it's worth it, over my truck.. Opinions?
Depends on how much you use the trucks other capabilities like hauling a trailer of a bed full of stuff. For me I would go with the Mustang. Also depends on what kinda shape your truck is in. You're pretty far south so snow driving shouldn't really be a factor. From the mods you're listing it sounds like you know something about Mustangs, so to me, if it isn't going to make things hard not having a truck I'd go for it.

That hunk of junk? Yeah, well I've made a few special modifications to that yellow 99 Gt, it makes the Kessel run in 12 parsecs and eats turbo japs and poops chevy's
throw some pictures in and we can go from there also dont make the same mistake that i made if your not a mechanic your self take someone that can check all the main important mechanical parts in the vehicle before purchasing .... when i bought my 2000 mustang Gt about 18 hrs later i had to get the heads rebuilt .....so look into all that

now i COULD be wrong lol but dont 12k seem a bit high for that?? ya, the mileage is really low someone actually took care of it over the years, but if its pretty much bone stock aint 12k a bit tough?? you could get a like 99 with say 70-90k miles for about 7 or 8k and put 4-5k INTO it and be significantly better than the one with 40k miles?? dunno its my motto to buy cheap and build up to be better than expensive from the get go... i would rather say spend about 3k on a brand new motor to put in a car with like 150kmiles on it and another 1500 for a tranny other bolt ons and start fresh for about the same price....
dirrfrent strokes diff'rent folks!!

they are actually REALLY good DD cars too dont get fooled by the gorgeous looks and raw power... ESPECIALLY someone who dont see snow all the time and we all love mustangs with a passion, just dont jump on the first car you see...shop around and look for the one that the previous owner took care of the most.... just cuz a car may only have say 10,000 miles on it dont mean it wasnt beaten to hell from the second it left the lot right?
just keep in mind you want the one that was used as a mustang but very well taken care of too... you can tell by how clean the interior and body panels are... and in the wheel wells the amount of rubber in there hahahahahahaha
