well, I think you're probably right. I never street-raced... I always respected all laws, the most I ever did was speed a little. Maybe 15 to 20 miles over the speed limit, but LET'S BE HONEST... which one of you all can look into my eyes and say you've never been over the speed limit while driving your MUSTANG?
So, anyways... the only reason why I'm against street racing is because of the danger of having an accident... BUT this last friday, I wasn't street racing, though I had said something about replacing my rear tires... and I kept procrastinating.
Well, it started raining... and while I was driving down the road at about 40 mph, I accelerated hard enough as to downshift the automatic transmission. The MUSTANG started fishtailing and I would have controlled it had it not been because there was a guy traveling right next to me.
The guy was SUPER AWESOME!! He was very kind to me and even told me about an accident he had and how sorry he was to see that I wrecked my dream car... but anyways, while fishtailing the right-rear side of my car knocked against the front-left tire of his truck and I ended up being PIT'ed into a wide skid. I pointed the wheels to the right to save everyone's life and stay away from the HIGH FLOWING traffic in the left... but ended up in the side of the street messing up my two left tires. So, I damaged my car so bad and all I have now is the passion for MUSTANGs I always had... but I've witnessed my dream car taking more damage than I could ever withstand seeing.

I really loved and love that car, I have pictures of it all if you feel curious of seeing all the damage.
I'm just sorry that I'm always careful and I always took care of my car and now this happens. I feel totally defeated, but like my mom said, I live and I can buy another MUSTANG, she just doesn't understand I want mine back... but I know it's not happening anytime soon. Hopefully I'll get it repaired, but it's gonna take more than my strong will to get it fixed.
Sorry for the short hijack, I just had to share my story... maybe by writing this, I can persuade a street racer at least to not do it on the streets. I thought I was very skilled and I could handle my car until this happened and I realized sometimes LUCK plays an important role. Don't street race people, I lived to tell the story but I don't wanna see any
RIP messages on anyone's signature.
Wish me lots of luck, I love you all MUSTANG lovers. . .
