ok so i dont know what happened to my previous reply, but here goes again.
ive run bosch platinum +4 plugs in everything v8powered ive owned or worked on, including my 97 stang gt. they last forever, and tend to work more effieciently. they miiiight make ur car run a bit hotter, as its a side effect, but none of mine have showed much a difference, but making all misses or sluggish idles go away. i love the four prong as opposed to the one or two. it works out amazing.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! A Hot Platinum Plug is a HIGH Risk for backing out of the 4V Aluminum Heads!
NGK TR-55's or one heat range colder, TR-6.
The Autolite Copper Core are good as well.
Factory gap calls for .054, I close it up a bit to .048!
Thanks guys appreciate the input..My car runs pretty hot to begin with just over 200 what do you recommend? Will the TR6 be sufficient and how much colder

OUTLAW I'd change your Thermostat and if not planning on adding NOS or a supercharger the TR-5 or 55's will be fine for you(I use the TR-5). Guys run TR-6's in the 03-04 Cobras and cars with Forced Induction, I have a new set in my garage waiting to be installed with the Vortech this winter!
I'd get a Stant 180 Thermostat #14138 or I have a friend that makes Custom 170's and Lethal is carrying them now.
Do you have a handheld Tuner to lower your Fan cycle temps?
And the AC system operates best at 40 psi, so shoot for that and pinpoint the leak, maybe an O-ring gasket..
I have the pradator tuner, were do i find the setting for fan is that in custom tune i also want to raise rpm 100,I know were the thermostat on most cars but on the DOHC I CANT REALLY SEE THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING?
Do you have the 93 Octane performance Tune currently loaded in the ECU from your Predator? Go under "Options to modify the Tune, measure the height of your rear tires in inches and use the formula in the Diablo manual to correctly set the tires revolutions, set the rear end gears correctly and adjust the fans to this...
High Speed on (Both) 196
High Speed off 193
Low speed on 192
Low Speed off 189
I have my idle speed set at 750, factory is 700!
I have all stock rims tires do i still have to figure it out?The tune i have is the one that came with predator,It says Diablo tune is that the 93 octane?I went into modify tune and all of them are set at 206 is this what they are set from factory? Are these extremely out of whack??Because no one has ever touched the tuner except me and ive never changed any thing just loaded the tuneSomething else if i remember correctly the fans would stay on for awhile after car was shut off when it was new now fan never stays on??.Mine idles at 800 Brutal you are awesome for helping thats 3 times youve helped me with different problems really appreciate it...Thanks Todd
YES Todd those Fan setting NEED to be adjusted, that's why you seeing such hot temps, log in the figures I gave you and adjust the other parameters as well, and YES you need to set the right rear end gear ratio and tire revs because your Predator Tuner is compatable with many Ford Models like the Cobra,GT and V6 so the figures aren't specific to your car when you load that Diablo tune. And Yes the Stock Ford computer flash will have those fan temps set pretty high. And when you adjust them down it will be common to hear the low speed on when driving and the high speed will kick in when idling for awhile so don't be alarmed!
Do this before you even worry about the new Stat!
If the wrong gear ratio and tire revs are currently loaded YES it will effect your speedo, here's the formula it's real easy....
Measure tire from ground to top of tread and divide it by
20168 example 20168/26 equals 775 , find the number closest to yours and the gear ratio is easy, you should have 3.55's right?
Thanks man did what you said and also had air cond. recharged. Motor is running about 10 degrees cooler!! I currently have 3.55s but i want to go to a 18-20 inch wheel i was thinking 4.10s or 3.73s what do you think is best?
