Default ?'s about American Muscle

Alright Ive never ordered from these guys before but Ive read mostly good things from them on here. Im gonna order my new deep dish wheels from them, isnt there some kind of 6% discount or something I can get for being a forum member? Also do ya guys think 18's would look good in the back with the stock 17's up front still, or should I just keep it at 17?

Ask AMNick, he's the one to get the discount code from.

AMNick will hook you up with the code.

Also, I'm not sure how the different size wheels would look. I know a lot of high-end exotic sports cars have different size rims but I'm not sure how it would look on a Mustang. Maybe give it a shot, and then if it doesn't look good you can just order some 18's for the front to match the back

Alright just sent AMnick a PM so hopefully he will get back to me, as far as wheel choice goes Im still not sure..too many options lol. Saw some pics on their site with the 18 in the back with 17 up front and it looks good, however ya gotta see it in person to really see it.

AM is a fantastic company to deal with, have no fears. Now as for different diameter wheels without finaggeling tire sizes so you have the same overall diameter front-to-back you will get an ABS light. Something to keep in mind.

keeping the same tire height, it will look really out of place with a wide sidewall on the frt and a thin sidwall on the rear. not a good look at all.

AmericanMuscle.com is amazing. Keep the same size wheel all around.

no they only make 17x10.5s. i have a 275 tire on there and that in my opinion is too small for a 10.5 rim but it still looks fine. is your tire selection limited? is that why you are looking for a 10 inch rim? i would say just go with the 10.5 and just make sure the width is between 285-315.

oh and 17's all around i think would look better than 17s in front and 18s in back.

Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails

AM will take good care of you. I would stick with 17's and run 315's in the rear. You need them anyways with that KB under the hood

American Muscle is awesome and Nick is great to work with. I have purchased twice from them within the last month and both times, the packages arrived in 2 business days. Make sure you get the discount code, I got 6% off each purchase. That and the free shipping really helps.

I would stick with 17's all around if it were me. I run a 17 x 9 wheel and a 275-40-17's all the way around on mine and it looks good. I would've liked to go to a 315-40 on the back for a bigger tread patch but I'm not sure if the 9" wheel will hold it or not....

Alright thanks for the input guys. Im gonna keep it at 17. I was j/w if they made a 17x10. I do like the 10.5 though, which is probably what Im gonna go with. Now gotta decide if Im going with 295, 305, or 315......

Do 17x9s with 275/40/17s in front and 17x10.5s with 315/35/17s in the rear. You'll love it and it looks awesome! It also doesn't mess with the tire height because they are the same tire height as the stock tires.
