something forged. about covers it. some will suggest some brands over others, but in my opinion as long as its made for the car you should be fine.

The usual's ares forged crankshaft, pistons and rods Some have pushed upwards of 14psi but that's just asking for something. Like I said though, some cars like boost and some don't. I just hope mine likes boost

haha... well thanks for the info. i hope mine will like it too. ive taken real good care of it. it has 115,000 miles on it but it runs like it has 50,000. i probably should have started sooner but i havent had the money. now i kind of do and i have the mod bug. i wont be puttin a s/c on probably until next summer or so. AM has a combo kit with 4.10 gears and a tuner for $539 im gonna get. if i still have enough $$ im gonna get some lowering springs. Thats how im startin.

That's not a bad start, gears and tune is def worth the money. Springs are a great investment too. Our cars look like 4x4's coming out of the factory

Yeah, you'll like it a lot better. The looks are always great and the handling will be better too.

As far as mods go I would go with gears first and formost. Next would b a tuner. After that go for the bottle, or s/c........Just my 2 cents...

Dont really think you would have enough for cams unless thats all you did and have another 300-500 dollars unless you found some used. When I got my car it was bone stock. The first thing I done was took it straight to my buddies garage and put lowering springs on it. Then the wheels. Now I have the mod bug. Just got a D1 procharger trickflow upper plenum and a 75mm mass air. Its going to be a never ending thing once you get started with building a Mustang. Theres just to many thing you can do to the cars. I already built a 90 GT. Got it done now I am starting on my 2002 Mustang GT. But just like everybody else. For a $1000 A sct tunner, lowering kit and gears would be a great start. Might throw in a cold air kit if you dont have one. Thats going to be a thousand just in 4 things. Enjoy
