Default what mods to do??

im gonna soon have $1000 to put in my pony. im all stock now except exhaust. what should i do and what gains will it give me? economy is no problem. more power... thanks in advance

gears!!!! and a tuner!!!! lowering springs!!! that should work for a while until the mod bug bites again

haha.. ive had the mod bug. would i be able to have the gears installed and get the tuner and springs for 1000? i could do the springs myself.

what about cams? how much tq/hp will it add? i love the way they sound. which ones should i get and how much would they cost?

oh i didn't think about installation probably be close... get the gears and tuner and have that done and see how much it runs you, shouldn't be all that much... you should be able to get the springs though... what gears you going with?

i seen in your profile that you have an automatic.... i would go 4.10s and don't think twice, they freaking rock in an auto.... put some in my buddies 06 gt (granted he does have one more gear in his auto) and they pwn

Save another 1k and go hunt for a supercharger. Been seeing a lot of them going for 2k or less (if you bargain) Heck, I got mine for less than 2k A blower is one of the easiest ways to add big power besides nitrous

but if i s/c wont i have to do my internals also? i plan on s/c but not at this time. im not rich. haha

That's what I'm always told, you'll need forged internals in order to go decently high PSI supercharged.

You don't need forged internals just run the stock amount of boost then when you save up some more get a intercooler and get a pulley swap.

No, you don't need forged internals to run a s/c. Just as long you don't run a lot of boost then you'll be fine. A buddy of mine is making 386rwhp with just 8psi thru a auto 8psi is where a lot of people run the normal amount on a stock motor. Some will push more like 10-12psi but every motor is different, some like the added psi and some don't.

so when i hit like 10 psi and higher what internals will i have to upgrade?
