Hi Guys i just bought an Ultra clean 2004 Crimson red anniversary edition GT. it already has a pair of flowmasters on it but otherwise is bone stock. what would be the easiest way to bump the hp from 260 to 300 like the 05? I was told adding a cold air intake kit, a biger throttle body and underdrive pulleys would do it? is it really that simple?

That might get you close to 300 at the flywheel, but you're going to need a bit more to get that at the rear wheels. By the way, the 05 won't put 300 hp to the rear wheels either, that's the rating at the flywheel, so if you're trying to tie the 05+ models, that might take care of it.

I would get some longtubes, mid pipe, CAI, UDP's, TB, plenum and handheld tuner.
On most M5 99-04 GT's that will put them around 250-260rwhp.
My 2005 GT stock put down 260rwhp, though with a few mods, it was putting down 293rwhp, stage 3 cams bumped it to 330rwhp.

Gears would make you feel like you have 300 horses. That mod alone would turn your Mustang into a tire shreding beast.
