has anybody bought this kit? i dont want to go crazy and spend my savings under the hood. i want close to 400rwhp, want to retain daily-driveablilty, and still get decent fuel mileage. ive been told that this kit is the best overall kit for my needs, but was hoping for some feedback

There was a full blown article on the installation and results for that kit in the Feb. issue of 5.0L and Superfords Magazine. At 8-9 pounds they are making about 395-405 on the average, at the wheels. I do know there is a 99 Saleen (with good internals) that made around 575-580 at the tire at 18.5-19 pounds of boost, and some Stage I heads and cams from Fox Lake.

Since you also talked about mileage...a roots style blower, as the TTI is, if you drive it normally, will actually increase your mileage. It moves air by volume. In and out. A twin screw compresses air, so it moves air in, compresses, and moves air out so expect a drop in mileage between 10-15%.
