My daughter just called me to tell me her driver side power seat in her 2003 Mustang started to move forward as she was driving. She said she did not hit the button and there is nothing in front of the seat that could have hit the button. She said this is the second time this has happened. Is there a known problem with the switch, etc? I plan to remove the fuse for the seat when she gets home. Is the switch bad? Any ideas?

i would venture to say the switch is bad because it obviously thinks she is pressing the switch if it moves the seat. Try getting a new switch and see if that corrects the issue
