its garbage considering the numbers you are talking and trying to defend... its garbage compared to something as simple as a car with a S/C bolted on that pushes like 430HP now compare 430 to 248... i would say its pretty sad too... AND if your lookin for MY dyno numbers, i JUST bought my car about 2 months ago for LESS than what u paid for your heads and crap....

and my v8 superiority attitude talking smack was that of, if i spent anywhere NEAR what you did or what the average "tuner" kid did, i would blow their doors off ANY day just for the simple fact that i have a v8... my car was a whole $1300 JUST for the car... so had i spent ANYWHERE near 8K like ur average person does,JUST FOR THE CAR, trust me, i would have a supercharger and the axles/transmission to handle it that would smoke 90% of the cool rides that those a$$holes ride around in thinkin they are just the coolest person on earth cuz they got a turbo...

This all started because I was defending the potential of the 1st and 2nd Gen DSMs. The same potential that you reference when you keep using words like "If my car...". If, If, If.

I never introduced my numbers into play at all. I was a college kid on a budget when I headswapped. I did it back before the majority of people did it, and I was totally pleased with the results. It was a great setup for where I was in my life at the time.

Stop throwing random numbers out there. They mean nothing. Where the hell does 8K come into play? My buddy with an MR2T spent $30 at Home Depot on a manual boost controller and took his OTHERWISE STOCK car to 13.5@100. For $30! It also made 226rwhp and 271rwtq. For $30! He only paid $4000 for the car too, and that was 6 years ago! Go spend $30 and show me your 13.5 timeslip.

Stop Benchracing- go Test and Tune, go Dyno, go Wrench. Go out and see what other guys are doing, no matter what they drive. Go see who is running fast at the track, who is putting up the great dyno numbers, and see how they do it, no matter what they drive. Perhaps some real world experience will give you the perspective you obviously need.

um fyi, i HAVE been out i HAVE seen what most ppl run, where do u think i GET my respect for a subaru?? do u think i would just conjure this cool idea from my head that i would like a subaru but not a honda?? NO, its cuz i have physically SEEN a subaru stomp a supercharged mustangs a$$, up until the subaru SMOKED his turbo and went home for the night... i seen old cars vs new cars, i seen all out pinks i seen carbed, injected, blown, supercharged... and the ones that impress me the MOST are twin screw supercharged(otherwise known as a blowers) v8 american muscle, in fact if u REALLY wanna get particular, it was a blown chevy 454 was the best motor i have seen, and ironically the guy was my SHOP CLASS TEACHER... go figure... the guy didnt have a lot of money but he had a brain...

as for the 8000 dollar comment, note i said one the car ALONE!! most of the ricer punks around here spend at LEAST 8k on their car *if they are real tuner enthusiasts not the losers riding around in a junk integra with a fart can* the guys who truly buy a nice car, build it up some put a nice body kit on it a nice stereo in it some nice bolt ons... and think that their car is the best cuz they have all that... so the "if if if game" you liek to call it, is where REAL competition IS... its NOT at the track its in the guy behind the desk designing it... TRUST ME ITS WHAT I DO FOR A LIVING!! there is a reason the guy putting it together makes significantly less than the guy in the office thinkin it up...

as far as MY track time goes,
ONE, my car is bone stock other than flows and a short throw... and again, i didnt even get the 4000 ur buddy got to spend on his car... i got 1300 bucks... WRECKED nonetheless...
TWO!! the nearest 1/4 mile dragstrip is in new hampshire... im not gonna trailer my car across 3 states just to see what it will do bone stock prolly even without PI heads...
THREE, i will be honest too, my driving prolly isnt up to par with some of the guys on here that CAN legally launch their car up to 100mph, so how can i truly compare??

so give me the extra lets see, i paid 1300 for mine i have about 300 into it so that makes 1600, your buddy paid $4030 for his 13.5 track time u speak of, SO give me the $2430, and i can GUARANTEE i will be able to beat a 13.5 track time... no doubt in my mind...there is plenty of crap around here that i have kickin around that i could very well make a 13.5 track time with... starting with weight watchers hahaha and THAT sir, is only a $10 saw blade from home depot!!
