alright, I know there is a lot of variables involved in running a 1/4 mile, but assuming that I know how to drive manual and launch well, what do you think my car would run, pending temperature and track conditions. I have a 2003 Mustang GT with a Green Performance Air Filter with stock tubing and air box, Ford Racing 70mm Throttle Body, C&L Trueflow Upper Intake Plenum, 3.73 gears, Pypes Violator cat back, Diablosport Predator 93 Octane Performance tune, Steeda UDP's, Tri-ax shifter, and H&R lowering springs. If anybody has or had a similar setup, I'd like to know what you have run. I haven't brought this car to the track yet but plan to next summer after getting my mid pipe installed. Some input from some of you more experienced drivers is appreciated. A guess of what time (f. ex. 13.5-14.0) is appreciated, thanks.
Only one way to find out! Get it out there I'v got 5 speed 98 GT with 4.10 gears. A New flowmaster exhaust, cold air intake.and a super chip my last run was a 14.3 on street tires. Let us know what you run, good luck
On street tires I'd say low 14's- high 13's, where you're at you'll have much better conditions than I do here, so you may even be able to go 13.5 though that's pushing it. I have seen as much as .6 seconds gained from good drag radials and a driver who knew how to take advantage of them, but he also had control arms, and that can make a big difference in traction. Good luck, just get it out there and find out the fun way.

That hunk of junk? Yeah, well I've made a few special modifications to that yellow 99 Gt, it makes the Kessel run in 12 parsecs and eats turbo japs and poops chevy's
yea i really cant wait to go next spring to find out. I was going to go this summer, but was waiting for my friend with his Gen 1 Eagle Talon TSI AWD to get his car fixed so we could go together, then we had to wait for both of us to get a helmet, so between that and our schedules it just didn't happen. By next summer I'll have my midpipe too. and by the time i really start getting into racing i'll expect to get much more, lol. cant wait
