Well I took my radio out since it wouldnt play cds at all and tryed to fiddle with it to get it working again. When I installed it again, it wouldnt come on at all. I went through all the fuses to see if they were blown and none were. Since I was thinking about getting another one off ebay anyway, I threw it away. I took out all my after market stuff, amp, sub, etc. When I woke up the next day, which is today, the check engine light is on. Whats the deal? Is it because the radio is missing? Did I replace a fuse in the wrong spot maybe? Would that do it? I dont know whats wrong. I'm stuck at work and frustrated. Im going to take it in to see what the code is but wanted to post to see if anyone would know why at first.

Well i did disconnect the battery for 20 minutes. When I did that, I had under 1/4 tank of gas. Maybe the code is for low fuel?

By disconnecting the battery, it won't clear the code. Take a scanner and plug it in to the ALDL, and see what the scanner comes back with. Your just going to be playing a guessing game without a scanner, Mike. SCT Tuner.

well thats the thing, i didnt disconnect the batter after the light came on, before i took my radio out and fiddled with it i disconnected the battery for 20 min to see if that fixed or reset my radio. But I am taking it in to see what the code is.
