random questions I was wondering a few things that a true Mustang lover would know.
On a 2001 Mustang GT Convertible, do the power seats move when the car is powered off, and key is not in the ignition? Just noticed when I went to move the seat in my Mustang I am looking to buy, it doesnt move.
The car was unlocked, and I was able to get in. So, that being said, the seat didnt do ANYTHING when I tried. No lumbar, forward or back, nor up/down. The headlights turned on, all those lights came on, front and back, the locks worked (aside from the passenger door doesnt want to lock or unlock, unless using the handle on the inside). It will unlock/lock the drivers door from the button, but not itself. go figure.
The car itself does have a few minor issues, the Engine Control Unit (see separate post) and tires and other little things. If the seat motor is shot, and the door lock... I may walk away from it. It's just seemingly a few more issues than I am prepared to take on. |
