Default Need Some Opinions...

Ok so After Watching exhaust clips all day on you tube i have narrowed it down to 2 Different mid pipes.

Upr X pipe:

99-03 Mustang Off Road X Pipe

Mac H pipe:

Mac Performance - performance accessories for cars, trucks, and motorcycles

Im not to sure if thats the h-pipe i Want or need? is there more than one or better h-pipe that mac makes?

So my questions are, will these pipes fit good with an auto trans? any ground clearance issues? witch will sound better? will these work with the stock manifolds? I have cherry bomb pros right now. i am looking into flow masters. witch will sound best on my car? original 40s? super 44s? others? thanks, kyler

super 44s and x-pipe sound the best in my opinion. H-Pipes are more mellow, I like the raspyness the x-pipes have. Throw in a set of agressive cams and you'll have a mean sounding ride.

just to let you know the second one you have listed (the Mac) is a shorty h-pipe for longtube headers so unless your doin longtubes you will need to get the regular one if your goin mac i would say check out the prochamber i hear great things about them

I think the h pipe or prochamber would sound best with Flows. Most use the Mac h pipe, but there are some others too. I have a JBA stainless o/r h pipe on my car. Real nice piece. A bit more $$ than Mac but it's stainless so that's the difference. I think I paid around $250 or so for mine from Stage3Motorsports.

i would have to go with the h over the x. i think you lose some of the classic v8 rumble with an x pipe.

Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails
