I have a 1998 Mustang GT and $30! What performance mod is the best bang for the buck? Trying to stay within the $100 range.
P.S. I already have nitrous.
Not sure why I didn't catch this sooner but you say you have $30 but you want "to stay within the $100 range"..........is this a case of Obama-economics in which you you only have a set amount of $$$ but are going to exceek that amount? $70 is a pretty big spread, please clarify if you only have $30 to spend or $100 because it makes quite the difference in what you can get!

or go buy yourself a cd that you want and then listen to it as you take all of your interior seats, spare tire, trunk trim peices out.... then go test and tune, you'll drop a tenth or so
with $30, get some badges and stickers...I know that ricers use these to get easy horsepower but I've never tried them myself...with $100 you could get a cheap cold air (short ram air kit) from american muscle, or what I did was get a replacement filter, which allows more air flow that just goes into the stock air box...the stock tubing and air box isn't that restricive so this will be a cheap easy way to get some more power...I went with Green Air Filters...in my opinion for now you could get that easy mod or just keep saving for a significant mod

30 bucks hmmmm thats like sayin with 10-10-220 all calls up to 20 min are only 99cents!! lmao what can ya do with a dollar nowadays???
only thing i see being actually a good investment here for 30 bucks is the fully synthetic oil change and filter
course alcohol and some strippers (strippers being girls under 21 that cant buy the alcohol themselves) you supply the car, the alcohol they supply the "cough other cough" parts hahaha

Look around on Ebay, you might find a good used part for that kinda loot, probably best just to keep it in a savings account and buy a real part once you have accumulated enough.

HAHA! Oh boy, it was quite fun reading all of the responses! To clarify, the $30 is the money that I have left on a gift card for AmericanMuscle.com. The $100 dollar range means the $30 plus $70 out of my wallet. I already have a tune, CAI, exhaust, nitrous, pedal covers, Ford Racing steering wheel, MGW short throw shifter, and all fluid changes. Performance is what I want!
Thanks Everyone!!!
Turtle Wax Ice liquid clay bar and wax. Make your car all shiny.
There's a town near me called Fayetteville (Fayette-nam) and literally 99% of the vehicles in the town have these adhesive trim pieces on the front quarter panel. They're shaped like the Oakley brand sunglasses logo, and they're chrome, and some even have fake carbon fibre inserts. What you do is buy six of them, and put three on each side of your car. Then you go around "ridin' dirty and cruisin' for ho's. It doesn't matter what kind of car you've got. If you have these trim pieces on it, you're phat.
OR... Get one of those adhesive badges that say "22" (rim size) and put them on a vehicle with stock 16" wheels. That way when you actually spend more money than your car is worth to buy 22 inch rims and put them on, you'll already have the badge.
The BEST thing to do would be a combination of both. The 22 badges, and the trim ovals, but that might push you over your spending limit. I'm not sure how much billet flames cost, but research it and buy every billet flame accesory available to you. Billet flames are marginally better than underdrive pulleys, but not quite as good as gears.
All of these parts are available at vato-zone.
Seriously, I wish I had invented the trim oval thingies, because whoever is selling those in NC is making some bank.

I was for real with the gas and drink, definitely not picking on anyone. If i only had 30 bucks right now, i would fill the tank up.
Good idea about checking ebay for something good/used, might find a good deal.
