Sup guys, tonight I went to the track. Got to use the NT555R's...I really love these. I can accually hit 2nd gear without spinning lol.
These are my top 3 runs
Best Run
60 - 1.934
1/8 - 8.629 @ 81.45
1/4 - 13.408 @ 103.10
.009 from cracking a 13.3. I was very very impressed with my times. And the NT555R's were at 30psi. I could have dropped them to like 26psi but I didnt want to have more "rolling resistence"
I didnt get any videos, no one came up with me. I should have done like 2 more runs, my trap speed was picking up, but I didnt want to kill the tires.
EDIT:
Also, I had just over a 1/2 tank. Put to much gas in my tank

very very nice. solid 60ft. and to think what less pressure and some lower control arms would do...

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails
mell0 - Thanks, and I know. I almost got a 1.8 60. When I go up this Wednesday, hopefully Ill find 2 16" rims to put my own NT555R's on, Ill try like 25psi and hopefully I can hit a lower 13.
Hotshot - Thanks bro

Really that low? Wouldnt that hurt my trap speed? 18psi on tires will cause more rolling resistence. Because its not like M.T with a thicker sidewall. Thats what I figured, but Im probally wrong lol

On your drive wheels, you don't have to worry about rolling resistance as much. I typically run 18lbs in my BFG's, but to get the Nittos to grip on my car, I used to run 16lbs. Again, it all depends on the track, temp, and prep. I typically start at 20psi with a new setup, and work my way down until I get the best traction. The only thing that kind of gets crazy is at 16lbs or below, you get a little wobble on the top end from the rear tires. But the traction gain is definately worth it.
Yea true. I was at 30psi most of the night. I just put it in 2nd, dropped the clutch at like 3,500rpm and got the tach at like 5500-5800rpm and let them bake for a good 10 seconds. Untill I could taste burnt rubber...lmao.
Im going up Wednesday, but most likley no drag radials I doubt Ill get better than a 13.4 with street tires
