i have a gt but bought it with a 2000 cobra bumper on it. will a mach one chin spoiler fit on it. i was in ocen city last weekend and thought i seen a 2000 cobra with a chin spoiler, let me know thanks

Are you talking about the Cobra R? That's the only 2000 Cobra they made. But either way, I don't think a chin spoiler would fit on a Cobra bumper. Whether it's the 1999, 2001, or 03-04.

I've seen a lot of Mach 1 chins on 99 or 01 Cobras. Some have looked nice, others don't look like they fit very well at all.

yea it must be the 1999 cobra bumper then 2000 is the year of my car

Yeah you can make it fit on the 99 and 01 bumpers. Like Bullitt said, sometimes they fit nicely and sometimes they don't really look good.

When you put the mach chin spoiler on the 99/01 cobra bumpers you have to either have about an inch gap on both side right at the wheel well or not have it sit flush with the front of the bumper.

+1, it will fit the 99 and 01 bumper and you'll have a gap on each end. You could probably try a 03-04 cobra chin spoiler and see how that works though.

EXACTLY!!

however, there is a mach-1 splitter made especially for the 99-01 cobra bumper. it fits flush at the front and comes to the end of the bumper. its from maier racing and is advertised as a front spoiler. click on the 99-04 mustang on homepage. its at the bottom. pricey though.

Yeah, that does look good. I think I like that better on the 01 Cobra bumper than the Mach 1 splitter.
