Default 2004 Mustang GT, Transmission-clutch setup

I am currently beginning the winter build on my 2004 gt.. i was just looking for some tranny-clutch reccomendations..just seeing what your thoughts are.. i will have about 385+hp at the end of build... also will a T-56 bolt up to my car? I will most likely get a built T-56 if it can work

A spec stage two will be nice and can hold some power. I definitley wouldn't get the stage 3 or you might change it out within no time. Go with an aluminum flywheel and driveshaft to drop some weight and rev a little quicker.
The t56 will bolt up, but you will need some parts for it. www.ddperformance.com can help.

PM sent and here is the link to a thread I wrote about my swap on modfords, for others that may be interested in the T56 swap into a 99-04 GT.

T45 to T56 swap into 99-04 GT - ModularFords.com

Also I have the Spec Stage 2 clutch and love it. It has almost 40,000 miles on it and holds like new, even with 9# of boost.

At 375+ Hp/Tq the 3650 should be able to handle the job. A Mcleod, Spec, or Ram HD clutch is what I recommend.

I run a TKO600 in my car, and love it.

there actually is a company that sells the entire t56 magnum swap (rated at 700lb/ft of tourque), including an aluminum driveshaft, new tranny mount, and they sell bellhousings too.

EDIT: the site is ddperformance.com 2oo5GT already mentioned it
