Natural Powered So recently I found out that my uncle is going to sell me his gorgeous 2003 GT (Only 16,000 mile on it) for a very fair price when I graduate college in about a year. And of course, the fact that I'll have a stable (Both my current V6 as a daily, and his GT as a weekend cruiser) just has me overly excited with ideas. I plan on turning this thing into a beautiful show car. THe paint is already flawless, it has an aftermarket hood and xenon side scoops on it. So body wise, it is ready to go. Figure I'll just add a light bar since it's a convertible. . .
But the point of the post was, I'm looking at making the engine bay a shrine to the mustang engine. Put little paint matched chrome and aluminum bits here and there, and more importantly throw some power to it. The question I have is, what kind of power can you expect by forging the internals, camming it, heads, and the various other things you would do to beef of the inside of the engine without a power adder. (And the fuel systems to obviously) Would it still be a managable weekend cruiser? And any clue how much power it may possible put out? I'm looking for right at about 400. I want to make something powerful, but not something that sacrafices the ride comfort.
