Ok guys here's what I need help on,

I just picked up the american muscle bi-xenon 8000K HID kit (they look amazing).
BUT, my local mechanic said the stock housings aren't made for those bulbs and I'll be getting flashed like crazy. Not to mention i still need to replace the original assembly's because the previous owner let them get so cloudy. So here's the challenge:

Keep the 8000K bi-xenon kit and look for some assembly's pretty cheap around $100?
OR
Return these and pick up the projector lights that come with HID's as the low beams and halogens as the highs for $100 more?

I want to try to get the best light output here because I drive at night ALOT, any suggestions or guide me in the right direction would be great!

i get flashed ALL THE TIME and i have those smoked headlights with the clear sides on am but still the lights are nice keep em and install urself its quite easy

what else were you thinking?


I've had these on for three nights now in the stock housings and I gotta say, they're pretty sweet

I'm surfing around trying to find a deal on those smoked ones if I decide to keep these or not

I woud go with the first option.... The HID lights look great !!!!
Who cares if people flashes you ..... they will get over it !!!
