Yeah, Money's not really an issue, just common sense... I COULD do anything but I have other hobbies and interest so dropping $7k on a supercharger for a car I don't race dosen't make too much sense... on the other hand, 'what I could have bought' is not an issue.. I'll buy a (used) 2011 5.0 in 2012.. until then nothing else..

So dropping a few $100 dollars a month to give me something to do, and fuel my fun is my plan.. I don't want to build a whole motor, but I want to do enough...

but i have to say im so in love with my mustang ive put over 7 grand in it bought it back in 06 for 14 and i know for 21 i could get a gto or svt or even a 03-04cobra, but parting with my mustang would b like parting with a child the day my father sold his 73 challenger 10.5 second door slammer was the first and only time ive ever seen him cry. i have to say most car guys can't sell thier car just because they cant justify puttin the 80grand in it when they could get a brand new zo6.

I agree, I've agreed to give one of my kids the car (once they are of age) assuming I have a GT500 by then.... so I get to kind of keep them both and it's not like I'm wasting them money on the mods...

Im trying to avoid the same thing with my car. My goal is to get into a terminator and on a college budget... i need to just work hard and save and stop moding my GT.
