Default Time to replace the clutch

Anybody got any good instruction manuals on how to replace a clutch on a 99 GT, Ive never done one before. Any tips are very appreciated. I know that the flywheel needs to be resurfaced.
Thanks

I have a lift, but my buddy doesnt. A while ago we took out his T45 and put in a TKO600, swapped the clutch as well.

We did it in his garage, on 6-ton jackstands. Not a problem. Some people complain, some dont. I didnt think it was too bad.

Pop the driveshaft off, take the bellhousing bolts out, and drop the tranny down. Make sure all the electrical connections are disconnected, and your set.

It is not that bad. Get four jackstands, raise them as high as you can, place them under the k-member and rear axle for the added height, unbolt the driveshaft and remove it, loosen all the tranny x-member bolts, remove your x or h- pipe, put a block of wood on your floor jack and raise it until it just touches your oil pan to support your motor, grab the tranny jack, remove shifter, clutch cable, and any electrical connections, and start taking out bellhousing bolts and remove the tranny x-member, slide it back til the input shaft is clear and lower it down. Takes about four hours and a twelve pack of bud light to have it all swapped out

I do alot of jobs off jack stands I have just become so spoiled and always having a lift that I won't do some jobs with out one...if you really want to do it yourself doing it on jackstands is an option just be prepared to have a few aches when you get done
