I just bought a 1998 mustang gt. Congrats to me. It has 75,xxx miles on it, and a full flowmaster exhaust. i have 18" wheels and a full system.
I want more power but i'm not sure where to start, i'm thinking intake and headers.

yeah, that's a good start, a pro 5.0 shifter and some suspension work (shocks/struts/springs, subframe connectors) will do wonders for the ergonomics of the car...the cold air intake is nice... the PI head swap is the "big" upgrade...maybe some rear gears for a little more "giddyup"...take your time, have fun, don't race every Stang you see, you never know what's lurking under the hood of us "veterans"...

gear gears gears....

change those terrible factory ring and pinion for something that will totally wake up that car. It all depends on where you drive the car ... like is it a weekend toy or a daily driver that see's a lot of highway??

some helpful links...
