Oh yeah I can provide video proof of his passes and the Mods done to his Black 99.. Full drag race suspension, 4.56 gear chunk,NAZMAN PSR (Ported Short Runner) stock intake, JLT RAI,and a good bit of weight reduction!! I really don't give a *** if you guys believe me or not!!

I said your not going 11.8's in a full street trim mustang with 312 rwhp.
I also said its posible with great reduction and a he!! of a suspension. th
its possible in perfect conditions with the things you say above to do so.
I guess when talking times we need to clarify street trim full weight or weight reduced drag car.........
and when I said your not ..... I did not mean you litteraly
and last I really dont care if you like my tone...
I am just keeping it real!!!!!

Hey man, that's awesome. I believe you now! His car is probably in the 3,000 pound range and maybe those 312 horses were measured on a Mustang Dyno? That would explain the seemingly low power. Either way, it's a bad car.

Dave's Dyno runs were on a Dynojet SAE corrected and more like 3200 lbs with driver!
Also as you can see his car is registered and street driven on a regular basis, NOT a race car.
FYI it's the only known Normally aspirated Cobra with IRS in the 11's with stock shortblock and heads SO Mr. Patience is an exception to the rule BUT there are a number of NA Cobras with IRS in the 320 HP range running 12.30-12.60's!
And guys not trying to start a fight but I'm not just gonna pull a number out of my ass and post it in the Forums here, I can assure you everything I say on this site has been researched before write it down. I myself was skeptical when I first heard about Dave's car but his quest for 11's has been well documented! PLUS he drives like me, an ANIMAL, haha!!
Some of you guys can't look at rwhp only and determine something, especially a 4V, can't hit 11's.
Brutal know's his s**t and he's not going to post BS just to post it.

It's straight man! It's not like we didn't have a reason to doubt though. Those are really strong numbers and there are really dumb people on here sometimes. I would have doubted anyone and I never said it didn't do it, just that I would like to see it. And the fact that it's a 4V shouldn't make a difference. A 2V with the same setup and power should run the same time. I just thought it would take more power in anything to run that fast.

well like I said in my post above its possible and he backed his post up thats great. there is a lot of crap posted on here all the time. and like he said its an exception to the rule for the most part.
it does not matter 2v or 4v 300 hp is 300 hp either way you shake it.
thats a very impressive run from the cobra. I guess I need some slicks and skinnies to try and break the the 10 second barrier

Mr P picked up .25 tenths with skinnies, and did you see his 1.59 60 ft with IRS and no power adder?? that is flat out impressive! AND the 117+ 1/4 mile traps, that's saying high 11.6 low 11.7 with perfect conditions, there's 03-04 Cobra guys that don't hit that number running full slicks!! I only trapped 114@ 11.92 with a 150 shot and ET Drags in my 89GT back in the 90's, Dave would have put me on the trailer with his NA Beast!!
Ok guys. I had my subs un-installed and my spare tire taken out. Without me in the car it weighs in at 3290lbs. With the subs and spare back in it weighs 3365lbs. Does this car seem light to you? or is 3290 about the normal weigh?
