Default clutch question

i have a 98 gt. i recently had the clutch replaced about 4000 miles ago. then i started hearing a small squeek i had no idea what it was. my clutch pedal then started to shake when my foot was not on it at about 2000 rpms and when i push in the clutch a little bit the squeek is gone. any ideas?

Sounds like the TOB or throw out bearing. Either premature wear or not greased.

I have a buddy who put an aftermarket clutch in his 96 GT his pedal does the same exact thing... it vibrates when he is at 1500 2000 RPM. could be the clearence between the throw out bearing and the fingers on the pressure plate is too little...does your clutch grab really high?

doesnt sound like a tob. the squeak is GONE when he touches the pedal. it should be the other way around for tob to be the problem.

i recommend checking the line at the firewall and see if something is loose, and then on the side of the tranny where the line connect to the tranny its self.
