Default How to pick up a few more tenths..

I have a 2004 GT, and Im looking for best ways to pick up a few more tenths in the 1/4 without boost or nitrous. Best i have ran to date is a 13.51 @100 mph, 1.91 60 ft'. I think it will go a 13.4 as is if i practise my launchs a bit more..

In this clip you can tell it bogs a bit off the line..

Mods:
BBK cold air intake
Mac prochamber midpipe
Magnaflow catback
91 octane sct tune
3.73 gears
26x10.5 ET street bias ply slicks @ 18 psi

Im looking to drop it down to about 13.2ish. 12.9 would be sick, but doubtfull with bolt ons.

What do you guys think?

Launch at 4800-5200 and ride the clutch thru first.

For every 100 lbs you shed you can pick up a tenth...also you can put slicks on and work on the rear suspension for better 60ft times...1.60 60 ft should be "doable"..good luck. a 90mm throttle body will help prevent the "bog"

Nice man thats a good run. I ran a 13.408 @ 103.10 with my mods in my sig.

How bout 70mm Throttle Body and upper Plenum?? Aluminum Driveshaft?? Were you powershifting? Take out some stuff, seats, door panels, sway bar etc....

cams will get you to a 13.0-13.2.. throttle body, upper plenum, aluminum driveshaft, switching to 4.10's are all good ideas. if you did all of that you'd be in the 12's for sure.
