do you have it tuned? i'd verify you have a proper tune.

And make sure all of your connections are solid and lack gaps. i threaw a code once when my filter fell off my CAI

In your sig, "Chip or some kind of tune" does sound a little sketchy.

Is the car running ok, or does it have any other symptoms?
Like Hotshot said, I'd start looking for vaccuum leaks and verify what "tune" you are running.

A leak in between the MAF and the Throttle Body is the most common culprit of that code if everything else seems fine.

I'd hate to even say this, because it seems to be the 1st thing everyone says, but in this case it may help: Have you tried cleaning the MAF sensor element?

I second that seen it happen so often and get so easily overlooked. Sometimes the most obvious are the most difficult.

I forgot to also say that i have a BBK cold air intake where the air filter is in the fender well..It was off i found it in the bottom of the fender...:p..I dont think the car was running long without it,but its possible the MAF got dirty?....That might be the best place to start...I also i have an exhaust leak on the passnger side manifold to X-pipe there is a gasket there i think its not good anymore i hear an exhaust leak by there...I really want to get a an whole new exhaust set-up from the manifolds back...

The oiled filter itself is the most common false MAF reading contributor. The oil tends to deposit itself on the MAF wires, and make them read false. I would start by cleaning the MAF, and then looking for a source of unmetered air, ie. intake leak.
