Default My Supercharger is installed, Man it's Awesome!!!



Well, I got my car back on the 15th after it's been at T&J Performance for a week.

At 8.5 pounds of boost, (I’m waiting for a different pulley to take it up to 10 pounds) it's putting 357 HP and 345.5 TQ to the ground. MAN, it's FAST! Between the supercharger, and the 3.73's that thing is insane! After I replace the pulley, it should be up to about 380.

Anybody ever heard that Dr Gas X pipe coupled with the Magnaflows? It's Awesome!!! It sounds fairly "Normal" till about 4k, and then it just screams. Damn it sounds good. After I took it for my first run when I picked it up, I couldn’t stop smiling.

It sux cause it's been raining all week, then I was on a business trip for a few days. Today is really the first day that I have been able to really push it a little. Can't wait to go cook some rice tonight!

My ONLY regret is that the Dr Gas makes it a little to loud at highway speeds. It’s got a pretty good drone at those speeds. Most of the reason is because I’ve got a convertible, it sounded fine in the coupe at those speeds. It may have to come out in a few weeks… anianger:

Lemme see If I can figure out how to attack the Dyno chart…

Your not running an intercooler right? What RPM do you start building boost? Do you have more low end power? Sorry for all the questions, but I wanna know

Awesome numbers, I'm hoping to be a little bit higher with the intercooler.

if i bought a supercharger, i wouldnt settle for anything under 400rwhp

awesome, congratulations. watch out going to 10 PSI without the intercooler or forged internals though. with that kind of power your next mod night need to be a roll cage and a set of mickey thompsons

I don't have a intercooler yet, it'll be a few more months for that.

Don't know why I didn't attach the chart showing boost, so here it is...

It's a custom tune based on Steeda's. The guy's at T&J really know what they are doing.

I can't wait to get this thing on the track and see what it does!

Well now my 01 Cobra is being painted Sonic Blue.Her mods now are 410 gears,Duel Exuast flows with off-Road-pipe,and Iam in the process of ordering a supercharger with intercooler and what ever I have left engine too.

I thought if you changed the pulleys on the Vortechs, it voided the warranty??

I even think there is a sticker on a cap that covers the pulley nut that says just that, but I could be wrong. I would check before you popped of that pulley. It would save you some dough if that head unit decides to go.

It does void the warranty. You might think about driving this around for a while before you increase the boost.
