Talking I'm so excited, I just can't hide it

I just got off the phone with my dyno guys (the guys making me the chip). They said that ATI ****ED UP the tune really bad. He said they sent me a chip that was a grenade... Under full boost it had 17* total timing. It's suppose to be 10*. Also he said that the MAF curve was wayyyyy outta whack. Fixed all that and the gave me a sweet rev limiter, it puts back timing instead cutting of fuel. I forgot to ask at what RPM though ... Oh well I'll find out later when I pick it up.

I can't believe ATI would be that stupid. At least you have your car in the hands of professionals now. Can't wait to see a video of that bad ***** running down the streets! We demand videos!!!!

I will get video's as soon as this baby is fine tuned... Trust me. I will have videos!!! I gotta make a dyno appointment so I can get it fine tuned... I had one, then canceled it. I need to make another one.

Man 17 DEG + timing at Full boost...Yikes! Hiroshima!!!!BigbadaBoom! Well good that you had someone local to look at it... Matt if you can get the files that he is putting together for and a print out. Also do you know or ask what type of chip he is flashing?

It's a chip I gave him. An Autologic. They re-tuned the one that ATI gave me. I've seen that vid before, I actually have it on my computer. I liked the rest of the video's though. They are sweet.

I'm starting to think that there is something wrong with either the MAF I just got, or I'm thinking my computer got reflashed without telling me. I put the chip in with the new MAF and my car ran better at low end. But once I hit a little under half throttle or about 3000 rpms. The car would spit and sputter (it almost feels like I'm hitting a rev limiter). It wouldn't go an higher or faster. It really sucks. I'm starting to loose hope in this supercharger. I'm so stressed right now it's killin me. I'm running out of money too

Matt, How did the people that re-flashed your chip take in consideration for the new MAF? Have you tried the stock MAF and the re-flashed chip??More then likely the Univer has a different Transfer function.I would try the Stock one again with the re-tune...

I gave them the MAF Curve (calibration) and they tuned it accordingly. These guys won't tune with the stock MAF. They keep telling me it won't work (I know it will know, but they insist on using this MAF). Plus what am I gonna do with this $400 MAF If I don't use it? It seems as though the univer MAF reads lower then the stock MAF also. Like if I plug in my scanner I can watch how much the MAF reads. The stock one if I wing the throttle will read about 10-11 lbs per minute. If I do the same with the Univer MAF, then I get about 4-5 lbs per minute. The real shitty part is I can't even get a dyno tune till the 31st of january. I don't know what i'm gonna do.

Here's what I would do (not that I'm anyone special but...) Put the stock MAF back on, remove any chip you have, remove the belt from the supercharger, and put a shorter belt which bypasses the 'charger pulley. Then put some sort of shortened intake on it after removing the intercooler piping from the TB.

Basically turn it back into a driveable N/A car but leave everything installed. Hook it all back up on Jan 30th and limp it over to the dyno shop.

thought i read in an ati catalog u have to have a stock moter for the charger to work properly. or did u get a diffrent ati charger so u dont have to have a stock moter. hell i would call them and see whats up with it. they should know there product and why its doing what its doing.

I have a chip that runs ok right now... But pings under a few pounds boost with the stock MAF... I'm trying to get it tuned. I'm just getting really tired of people promising me that this or that will fix my problem and it's not. I'm tired of wasting money, money that I no longer have the luxery of wasting.
