how fast is a stock 98 gt?

how fast is it with a 5 speed tranny? also it has 115k miles on it?

02 Mustang GT - Black - 3.73's short throw shifter

On the way - Cobra R hood Stalker front bumper cover and side skirts.

You really cannot say, since older cars with more miles can run like dirt. But lets say it was stock and new, just broken in nicely. They run usually 14.8-15.2 i think i hear. I'm not certain though, that's ballpark figure for ya. 225 HP if you did not know.

15. 1 here pretty much stock and auto with bald tires..so u should be at least better then that..but car only had 53,000 miles last time i ran it

what is faster a 98 or 99 gt 5 speed? i'm asking for a friend and dont know a whole lot about 4.6's

The 99 GT is faster. The 98 came with 225 HP while the 99 came with 260.

When my car was "bone stock" with a 5 speed, I ran 14.2@97. I keep hearing that is pretty quick. I'm here to tell you it's not quick at all. Just my $.03

they will run 14s stock for 5 speed.. the autos are just dogs though, such a big diff.. i have heard of many problems with the 99-00 stangs.. but 99+ is faster

Really, I've owned a 00' and 01' Stang!!! I've never had any problems. Specifically, what problems are you talking about? Becareful with gossip!

lol ur joking right? mbhmustang1998 is a complete second slower than baddass.. badass ran a 14.2 5 speed and mbhmustang1998 is 15.1.. shows how much 5 speeds are faster.. autos are dogs

1998gt..that was with bald tires and no spacer and the best i have ever seen personally a 99 or newer run was 14.9 at my track which i have been to many times.and they were standards.maybe they cant drive to well or maybe its the track..i hope to go to the first test and tune next sat..maybe i can make u more proud then
