My buddie egged me on about buying a Mustang (best thing I ever Done) but now that I have one there had to be a race he owns a 1992 GT we left school the other day (night school) around 11:00pm and the race was on I pulled about a car length in front of him and slowly continued to pull away we passed an early 90 's model LX 5.0 and he got into the race I backed off of it (scared) but then decided the hell with it I caught them both passed them both then relized how fast I was going 145 (panic) needless to say i lived to tell about it, but honestly didnt think my Mustang would do a hundred and fourty five MPH pretty Awsome.

dear god... careful... way dangerous doing that speed man. I can understand from one redlight to the next (less than a 1/4 of a mile for me when I do it)... but that's insane.

yeah, mustangs were not quite made to go that fast. Aerodynamically i mean. I was in my buddies bullitt and we were doing upwards of 140... i dont know wasnt really looking at the speedo, but the front end of his car started to lift up a lil, and actually started drifting to the right. Pretty scary..... to add to the fear was the fact that he was doing this on a bridge......

i'm not surprised that stangs will do 145.. i hit 140 in my gsr and she was still goin..

that's crazy though, when i'm over like 90 getting on it the guages never catch me off guard.. keep on eye on them more

try going 180 mph, i did with my friends viper but i wasn't driving, now that was really scary, i was speechless through out the hole night.
