Saw a special edition truck V10 or 12ish like that go thru an auction in that condition. Sitting for 10 years like that would it be in running condition?

Wow, what a cool deal, I would have thought Barrett Jackson, maybe not, still an awesome car, guy should contact Ron Pratt, at this point the car should probably just be saved. The new 5.0s are probably faster? :?:

Kinda makes you wonder.... The guy claims to have started it once in a while, but that doesn't mean he ever changed the fluids, etc. Can't imagine the varnish in the tank w/ the possibility of 10 year old gas!!

Even if its just 20-50 miles once a month or so,... cars NEED to be driven just so all the moving parts can get lubricated!!

It is a beautiful car though! I remember seeing one in person at Jim Click Ford in Tucson when they came out. It was the first and last one I've seen with my own two eyes.

Talking

From Motor Trend:
"Ford only built 300 Cobra Rs, it comes only in red, and the MSRP is $54,995, including destination and delivery."
Ford SVT Mustang Cobra R - Brakes & Steering - Road Test Review - Motor Trend

And this one has been relisted, Buy it Now price reduced! It looks like its been relisted a couple times now and he's turned down a $63,000 bid...

I like the window sticker: (nice and simple!)
Base price - $27,605
Gas guzzler tax - $ 3,000
"R" Competition package - $23,840

I'm sorry but that is just sad. It's amazing how many of the R's just set around and never make it to the track like they where intended. I'm guessing the Cobra Jet next to it is just going to set there also

That things at beaut. If I bought that car, I'd drive it. What's the point of buying something if you're not gonna enjoy it?
