The data I've seen disagrees with this. Even ported non-PI's will outflow an untouched FRPP head.
We continue to quote data but never see it..
If you're referencing magazine articles or books please include title/month/page - I'll try to organize it into something readable. Ordered the SHM mod book today.

No problem. After looking at these charts, they're pretty depressing for us 2v guys. Damn, even the ported head I had for my Neon out flowed the FRPP heads at .500"

Give me the weekend and I'll rework the data (thanks for all the work!) into an Excel spreadsheet w/some graphs - will make it easier for us to read. I ordered the book as well and can also pull in some nos. from a couple of sites and some articles. I called Livernois on Weds for some flow data and have included the graph they sent me. Those of you familiar w/flow bench wil have to chime in - he said this was graphed using a certain scale (..something inches of water???) thats not the norm and I want to be fair to them. I'll call Patriot Performance today and see if I can get some references from 4.6 people who actually have their heads. Patriot does list flow data on site which I'll incorporate in the the above table. http://www.patriot-performance.com/

Okay, I put all the number into an excel spreadsheet. I even included the numbers for Patriot Performance and Livornois. Though the Livornois numbers are appoximated because that graph isn't very accurate as far as the gradiants on the CFM side. Fox Lake numbers were not included because they only provide flow numbers at .550" of lift.

Great Job! - I would have done that for you but thanks!
I was unable to talk to Patriot Performance on Thurs but did talk to a tech at Fox Lake; more info later.

man, looks like we've got some pretty decent head available to us if we want to shell out the money for porting also. Looks like the FRPP heads would need higher compression pistons though, 53cc chambers are a bit larger than stock.

I think there's a typo in Sean Hyland's book. In the chart (where I pulled all this info from) it lists the chamber volume as 53cc's but in the description of the head, he say's it's 51cc's. Does anyone know the real volume of the combustion chamber on the FRPP head?

Can we gather up the chamber volumes on all the heads we're looking at/probably helpful to all.

I read something today that made me really upset. It made me so upset, I picked up the phone and made a bunch of phone calls. I was looking through this months MM&FF and found the flow numbers on stock PI heads. The exhaust flow is CRAP!!! Intake flow 177 cfm, exhaust flow 126 cfm. What's with that!?!?!?! They had a set of PI heads ported to 225 cfm intake and 208 cfm exhaust. I want some of those heads!!!! This tells me that our cars have way more hidden potential that just needs to be tapped. What do you guys think? I want some feed back.
This really makes me want a set of ported and polished heads now. I want to make more power
Mustang Giant has Patriot Stage1&2 heads on sale as well as Sean Hyland GT heads http://www.mustanggiant.com/072876480001.html
wish we had more references on the Patriot heads; last article I saw said they were truck cores and a little bit higher; can find article if you need.
