Thats about what the big dawg import drag racers are running in drag radial classes. The supras there are not street legal by any means. Hell, the things can barely stay running at the line, and they need a pretty good hit of nitrous just to get the turbos to spool. I don't think they would be able to pass emissions or even safety inspections in any state.
look at the size of the mustang cobra's engine and look at the wrx's size which is bigger....? of corse (I mean COURSE) the mustang is.... it is crap the wrx can keep up with the cobra and the cobra is a v8....twice as big dude just throw your piece of junk away plus the wrx is made for rally not street racing and it can still smoke cobras (just look at my run on sentence...its great right?)....haha look at the different hp also 300hp vs 380 at the same quartermile rate ha....face it fords are crap...if you drop a (I meant AN, but this is my sizzal fo rizzal) aftermarket turbo inthe wrx . (<--that should be a comma) it is hitting 12's and 11's...all wheel drive....the wrx is effiedently(<--that is my own personal word) greater than any ford....

wrxsti, you are not too bright are you? as it was said above, cobras are hitting the 12s in stock form wwhere a 2004 wrx sti is in the 13s. an 03 cobra has a trap speed of 111 mph and the sti is 105. and by the way the 03-04 cobras have 390 not 380 hp. you claim if you "drop an aftermarket turbo" in the wrx you will hit 12 and 11s. well, whats gonna happen if you add an aftermarket supercharger into the cobra? well, duh! the wrx is greater than any ford? rrrrrrrright.... 2000 cobra r , 1995 cobra r, ac cobras, panteras, the new ford gt. my neighbors pinto is better than that future rust bucket you have. haven't you ever looked at an older subaru? they are all rust and don't get anywhere without burning a quart of oil! lets face those sti's will be rusting out at some point. do your homework before you come to our site and try stating facts please!
