Default Billet Aluminum Pedals

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a good set of billet pedals for my 99 GT auto. Any thoughts on the best brand in terms of easy of installment?

Thanks

Aftermarket pedals pretty much snap on or clamp on over the top of your stock pedals... get the ones you feel look the best.

not nessecarily. on some others you mark four corners and drill in to them and it holds them better than the clamp ones. Ive had the clamp ones shift on me before.

The drill on ones are harder to install, but will stay put. Check out Steeda , and I think Ford is selling a set now too.

I have the "Bullet" pedals from Ford. They look great and replace the rubber pedal pads completely. I paid $89.95 from Performance Parts Inc. Part no. PP-42. Hope this helps

Hey Jason,

I stumbled onto a site where things seem to be a little cheaper than most. There is a good selection of pedals I noticed... I switched mine over to the Bullitt pedals and went with Ford OEM from my local dealership. I hope this helps you... gefracing.com

I got the ford bullitt pedals , found them on the net $69.00 diversified products I think. A couple hints for install put the rubber backed pedals in hot water few a couple seconds and they'll slip right on and be real careful with the gas pedal it's plastic and cracks real easy I got rid of Fords pin and used a nut and bolt Now it stays tight

I seen them for auto's now also

Go check out www.gefracing.com . They were selling the bullitt pedals for the auto for $49.00. I'm not sure if that's still the price though.

Guys, again...thank you for all your help with this. Here is my next issue. About 1/4 or my brake pedal is worn down to the metal on the right side.

My question is, since i wanna go with the alum pedals that slide over and not drill, will having the brake pedal this worn be a problem?

Or do you take the stock rubber off the pedal first?

I know its a silly question. Thanks for your help.

Bullit pedals replace the STOCK rubber pedals. They look great too. If you want to see what they look like there is a picture of them in my car in my gallery.

Remember to soak them in warm water before you try to install them. This will loosen up the rubber and make it easier to install them.

Good Luck!

you guys are going to hate me but....the best performance pedals out there are stock, with the rubber removed and grip tape (for skate boards) on the pedals, your feet will not slide off

Thats a great idea Twister, I can see that working fine but I like the look of the OEM Bullitt pedals, but then again, I might drive my car a little different than most, my old legs arent like they used to be... lol.
You think the stomp pads off my snowboards would work?... lol.

They have some pedals that can be engraved with GT or Cobra.
