How long does it take to deliver car?

Does anybody know how long it takes for them to deliver the car to the dealership after they build it?

10 days is the norm....ask your dealer if they have the invoice it will have a release date on it

I ordered my 05 mustang on Jan 7th....it is still not here in Austin. My dealer told me that it was in Houston, Tx awaiting transport to his dealership near the Austin area. That was two weeks ago. Anyone have any ideas of what is going on here. My paranoid side of me visualizes someone seeing the car and shuffling it off to their dealership. Is this possible? or once the dealer [mine in this case] orders the damn thing, then after that isn't it titled under his dealership name?

Ive been waiting 1 month for delivery. It was shipped via convoy on the 3rd of march. The car was not in a quality check either. It is suppose to be here next week, about 5 weeks to just ship the car.WOW

Mine took about a week to go from factory to Jackson, MS. Got it back on Dec 22nd of last year. Dealer went and got it from railway yard saving me about 3 or 4 days.

Can someone remind me of the 800 number to call to track status. I have a build date of 5/23 and was told by my dealer that ETA is around 6/12. Can I call the 800 lady with just a VIN number (don't know he deale number)?

My screaming yellow baby rolled out of the factory on 5/27 and the ETA on the rail car is the afternoon of 6/5. Assuming a couple more days to truck it over, clean & prep, etcetera, I should have her by no later than 6/8 (worst case). I'm hoping at least.

So around a week-and-a-half thereabouts for people all the way out in the SoCal area.

A car is not titled until it is registered. My salesman told me when I ordered mine that he had ordered a F-150 for a customer once and b4 he could get it delivered to the customer someone on the lot sold it to someone else!! Anything is possible.....

My car was built on the 19th, shipped on the 21st and arrived on the 31st in Houston TX even though they didn't realize they had it until the 2nd. I pick it up tomorrow since I have to drive to get it.

I am really excited!

I ordered my silver GT 2nd week of december. It was produced on the 19th of this month and has been sitting at the plant every since. It has not been scheduled to ship and the dealer told me I would have this car in 6 weeks max at time of order. They absolutely denied any delays with the GT's.
So, sitting for 2 weeks with no scheduled delivery, I should have just waited for the new vette.

My dealer told me a similar story about the ruthless sales people selling a car out from under the original customers order. Basically, if the salesman you worked with isn't there when it arrives, another salesman can sell it. Thats why the dealer I'm working with had me place the order as a fleet sales order. The retail sales team can't or won't screw with it because fleet customers are considered as having purchased the car already. At least that's their story. I still drive by everyday to make sure the transporters haven't delivered it yet. Don't know if I trust any of them anymore, starting to think lawyers are higher up the food chain than car sales folks.

Ordered GT 4/1 shipped 6/10 to Massachusetts (via Rail) arrived at dealer 6/17 took delivery 6/20 (had to deal with the DMV which was closed on the weekend).

I ordered mine with everything, but the Shaker 1000 and Automatic Tranny on April 23rd. It was built on June 6th, left the factory on June 10th, and arrived at the dealer in Jax, FL on June 20th. My dealer told me 8-12 weeks, but I got lucky and got it just under that timeframe. AND OH HOW SWEET IT IS!
